3.5 Square Meters: Constructive Responses to Natural Disasters

3.5 Square Meters:
Constructive Responses to Natural Disasters
Exhibition and Research Project

Life-saving information communicated as tweets or posts on social networks in the course of natural disasters; online journals documenting personal confrontations with disaster; instructions for the construction of a temporary folding shelter or for self-administered first aid—these are some of the ways that individuals and communities worldwide mobilize in response to catastrophes. These and other examples featured in the exhibition represent bottom–up approaches capable of impacting reality in extreme situations.

The exhibition was made possible through the assistance of Multifect Ltd. and Globus International Packing and Shipping Ltd.
