Zvi Goldstein: 1978
The 2016 Rappaport Prize for an Established Israeli Artist

The exhibition focuses on early works that Zvi Goldstein made after returning from life in Europe and settling in Jerusalem in 1978. They are presented now following a plan envisioned by the artist four decades ago: two hermetically sealed constructions with round windows, through which viewers can observe works from the series “Serial Constructions” and “Anomalies.” The works, dated 1978–1986, were created according to the artist's methodology, which became the ideological basis of his oeuvre.

The exhibition and the catalogue were made possible thanks to the Bruce & Ruth Rappaport Foundation
