Barrocade Ensemble: The story of Farinelli

In the 18th century, the Italian castrato singer Farinelli, had gained extraordinary popularity and admiration, such as given to the greatest pop singers nowadays. In this concert, the Counter-tenor singer, Alon Harari, will tell the story of Farinelli's amazing and extraordinary life.

The Mezzo-soprano Maya Amir, virtuoso Recorder player Yigal Kaminka and The Baroccade Orchestra, will perform Arias, Duets and Concertos by Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Porpora and Handel, from the most phenomenal and exciting period in the history of music!
