Magic in Pairs / Hands-On Workshop for Parents and Children Ages 3–5

In this workshop, we will explore artistic concepts such as color and form, painting and sculpture, imagination and inspiration. We will encounter artists and artworks and create works of our own in response to them. Through the shared experience of parent and child, we will develop creative skills that encourage self-expression while learning to create and enjoy together. Participants will explore a range of techniques, from two-dimensional to three-dimensional work, using diverse materials while developing fine and gross motor skills and engaging with the emotional space that emerges through the workshop experience. A significant part of the activity will take place in the galleries themselves, in front of the original artworks, as well as in the studio space.
