Alice in the Land of Books

The exhibition is based on a collection of editions of Lewis Carrol's classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865), originally illustrated by John Tenniel. The collection includes rare editions, among them the first Hebrew translation, published in Germany in 1924. Viewers are invited to paint on the plates from Alice's tea party, dress up as characters in the illustrations, read the story and enjoy the magnificent display.

All books and objects are from the collection of Maayan Cohen Duwek
The exhibition is held in collaboration with the Israeli Opera Tel Aviv–Yafo
