In his work, Attai Chen (b. Jerusalem, 1979) preserves a sense of improvisation and process. The works executed for this exhibition, assemblages ranging between jewelry and wearable objects, connote stories saturated with humor The compositions, painted in graphite, pigments, glass colors and nail varnish, are created through cross-breeding of raw materials such as twigs, parts of toys, plastic and metal. Chen is a graduate of Bezalel School of Arts and Design, Jerusalem and the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich.
