Avner Katz: Dress Rehearsall

Avner Katz uses sharp irony to express in his works fear of an unknown future. The exhibition presents a series of works characterized by extreme eccentricity simultaneously with typically romantic elements: social protest, opposition to political establishments and militarism, glorification of the imagination and its moral and emotional force, revulsion from rationalism’s thought control and a relentless call for freedom.
