David Hockney: Words and Pictures
The exhibition presents four sets of prints produced by David Hockney (b. 1937, Bradford, lives in London, Los Angeles and Bridlington, UK) between 1961 and 1977. The series, “A Rake’s Progress,” “Illustrations for Fourteen Poems from C.P. Cavafy,” “Illustrations for Six Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm” and “The Blue Guitar” all refer to literary and artistic works and elucidate biographical and interpretive aspects.
