Eli Gur Arie: Growth Engines

Eli Gur Arie’s exhibition relates to the possibility of an apocalyptic event and its ecological and biological consequences. Gur Arie builds survival surroundings with bio-mechanic elements to sustain the catastrophe’s surviving hybrid creatures. He employs the aesthetic of a consumer society, similar to that of the advertising industry, both obsessed with the superficial, in order to formulate a critique of contemporary society.
