Mexico: Art for the People, Works on Paper from the Museum Collection

A selection of 20th-century Mexican prints and drawings, presenting works by Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, David Alfaro Siqueiros and artists of the “Taller de Gráfica Popular,” including Leopoldo Méndez, Alberto Beltrán, Pablo O’Higgins and Elizabeth Catlett.
The selection offers an understanding of the revolutionary yet traditional spirit of Mexican art, manifested through the medium of print, which expressed the longing for freedom and social justice and the spirit of the revolution.
