A Moment of Birth: 120 Years of Bezalel Arts & Craft School

Marking 120 years since the founding of Bezalel in Jerusalem, this comprehensive exhibition traces the institution’s first chapter (1906–1929), which included an art school, workshops, and a museum. Its teachers and students devoted themselves to formulating a visual language expressing the idea of national revival and Bezalel is often regarded as the starting point in the history of Israeli art. The exhibition brings together 500 works in an exceptional display.
