Sharon Ya'ari: Leap Toward Yourself

For the past decade, Sharon Ya’ari has described a melancholy state of tension between the ideal and the real. While everything decays and time, wind and floods sweep away what has been and what might have been, we have to hold our head above the water. In Ya’ari’s most recent photographs, representing a kind of archaeology of being, the viewers seem to participate in a constant transformation of space and time.
