Talking to the Walls / Tzion Abraham Hazan: Marganith

Tzion Abraham Hazan, Marganith, 2012

The series “Talking to the Walls” presents video works by young artists dealing with language and territory, opening with Tzion Abraham Hazan

In the central work, Marganith, Hazan wanders like a desperate suitor around Marganith Tower, raised from the heart of the Kirya military compound in Tel Aviv—closed off to residents, including the artist. In response, the work Salit builds a series of events beginning in the domestic kitchen and ending in the Tel Aviv Museum of Art piazza.
