Orr Menirom — No Control at the Border

The series “Talking to the Walls” presents video works by young artists dealing with language and territory. Orr Menirom’s work is the third in the series.

Video work based on an interview held in Jordan in 2010 between journalist Dana Weisz and linguist and political activist Noam Chomsky, who had come to lecture at Birzeit University, near Ramallah.

The interview materials are deconstructed to fragments of words and reassembled to a sculptural cinematic collage that shift from the structured and political to an absurd-dreamlike space.
