Taryn Simon: Paperwork and the Will of Capital

Taryn Simon (b. 1975, USA) uses photography and text to circle the systems humans devise to exhibit power and control. The exhibition presents her latest series, in which she examines floral centerpieces from major international conferences. Treating the flowers as silent witnesses of historical moments, she re-photographs them as protagonists, and through them narrates the tale of international power relations, manipulations and broken promises.

The exhibition was made possible through the generous support of Sidney Simchowitz and the Simchowitz family; and the support of the Sagol family
