The Fans Are Mine

Israel, 2026 | Director: Omer Toib | 60 min., Hebrew, English subtitles subtitles | yes Docu, Kol Minei Productions

Yarden Lasry is Israel’s most famous OnlyFans star. The documentary "The Fans Are Mine" follows a year in her life as she attempts to bridge the gap between the virtual persona she has created and her personal life. A portrait of a young woman navigating a world in which intimacy, sexuality, and exposure have become forms of social and economic currency.

The preview screening will take place in conjunction with the exhibition Tom Wesselmann: All Out / From the Marie and Jose Mugrabi Collection.

Tom Wesselmann (1931–2004), a pivotal figure in American Pop Art of the 1960s, created bold, direct images that mirrored the culture from which they emerged. Through still lifes and nudes—fragmented, flat, and monumental—he reimagined the tradition of painting in an age saturated with advertising and mass media. His work, shifting between intimacy and exposure, attraction and discomfort, emerged at the height of the sexual revolution in the United States, as a direct response to the new openness surrounding sexuality, the body, and social norms. Wesselmann’s art continues to raise complex questions about the gaze, power, representation, and the place of the body in contemporary culture.

The dialogue between the exhibition Tom Wesselmann: All Out / From the Marie and Jose Mugrabi Collection and the film The Fans Are Mine invites us to consider questions that remain as relevant as ever: How do images generate power? What distinguishes objectification from self-empowerment? And how have the mechanisms through which culture constructs ways of seeing, desire, and meaning changed—or perhaps remained remarkably the same?
